سُورَةُ التَّكۡوِيرِ
At-Takwir
"The Overthrowing"
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
"بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم"
إِذَا الشَّمْسُ كُوِّرَتْ1
"When the sun is wrapped up [in darkness]"
وَإِذَا الْجِبَالُ سُيِّرَتْ3
"And when the mountains are removed"
وَإِذَا الْوُحُوشُ حُشِرَتْ5
"And when the wild beasts are gathered"
وَإِذَا النُّفُوسُ زُوِّجَتْ7
"And when the souls are paired"
بِأَيِّ ذَنْبٍ قُتِلَتْ9
"For what sin she was killed"
وَإِذَا النُّجُومُ انْكَدَرَتْ2
"And when the stars fall, dispersing,"
وَإِذَا الْعِشَارُ عُطِّلَتْ4
"And when full-term she-camels are neglected"
وَإِذَا الْبِحَارُ سُجِّرَتْ6
"And when the seas are filled with flame"
وَإِذَا الْمَوْءُودَةُ سُئِلَتْ8
"And when the girl [who was] buried alive is asked"
وَإِذَا الصُّحُفُ نُشِرَتْ10
"And when the pages are made public"
