سُورَةُ الوَاقِعَةِ
Al-Waaqia
"The Inevitable"
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
"بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم"
إِذَا وَقَعَتِ الْوَاقِعَةُ1
"When the Occurrence occurs,"
خَافِضَةٌ رَافِعَةٌ3
"It will bring down [some] and raise up [others]."
وَبُسَّتِ الْجِبَالُ بَسًّا5
"And the mountains are broken down, crumbling"
وَكُنْتُمْ أَزْوَاجًا ثَلَاثَةً7
"And you become [of] three kinds:"
وَأَصْحَابُ الْمَشْأَمَةِ مَا أَصْحَابُ الْمَشْأَمَةِ9
"And the companions of the left - what are the companions of the left?"
لَيْسَ لِوَقْعَتِهَا كَاذِبَةٌ2
"There is, at its occurrence, no denial."
إِذَا رُجَّتِ الْأَرْضُ رَجًّا4
"When the earth is shaken with convulsion"
فَكَانَتْ هَبَاءً مُنْبَثًّا6
"And become dust dispersing."
فَأَصْحَابُ الْمَيْمَنَةِ مَا أَصْحَابُ الْمَيْمَنَةِ8
"Then the companions of the right - what are the companions of the right?"
وَالسَّابِقُونَ السَّابِقُونَ10
"And the forerunners, the forerunners -"
