سُورَةُ الرَّحۡمَٰن
Ar-Rahmaan
"The Beneficent"
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
"بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم"
الرَّحْمَٰنُ1
"The Most Merciful"
خَلَقَ الْإِنْسَانَ3
"Created man,"
الشَّمْسُ وَالْقَمَرُ بِحُسْبَانٍ5
"The sun and the moon [move] by precise calculation,"
وَالسَّمَاءَ رَفَعَهَا وَوَضَعَ الْمِيزَانَ7
"And the heaven He raised and imposed the balance"
وَأَقِيمُوا الْوَزْنَ بِالْقِسْطِ وَلَا تُخْسِرُوا الْمِيزَانَ9
"And establish weight in justice and do not make deficient the balance."
عَلَّمَ الْقُرْآنَ2
"Taught the Qur'an,"
عَلَّمَهُ الْبَيَانَ4
"[And] taught him eloquence."
وَالنَّجْمُ وَالشَّجَرُ يَسْجُدَانِ6
"And the stars and trees prostrate."
أَلَّا تَطْغَوْا فِي الْمِيزَانِ8
"That you not transgress within the balance."
وَالْأَرْضَ وَضَعَهَا لِلْأَنَامِ10
"And the earth He laid [out] for the creatures."
