سُورَةُ الضُّحَىٰ
Ad-Dhuhaa
"The Morning Hours"
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
"بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم"
وَالضُّحَىٰ1
"By the morning brightness"
مَا وَدَّعَكَ رَبُّكَ وَمَا قَلَىٰ3
"Your Lord has not taken leave of you, [O Muhammad], nor has He detested [you]."
وَلَسَوْفَ يُعْطِيكَ رَبُّكَ فَتَرْضَىٰ5
"And your Lord is going to give you, and you will be satisfied."
وَوَجَدَكَ ضَالًّا فَهَدَىٰ7
"And He found you lost and guided [you],"
فَأَمَّا الْيَتِيمَ فَلَا تَقْهَرْ9
"So as for the orphan, do not oppress [him]."
وَاللَّيْلِ إِذَا سَجَىٰ2
"And [by] the night when it covers with darkness,"
وَلَلْآخِرَةُ خَيْرٌ لَكَ مِنَ الْأُولَىٰ4
"And the Hereafter is better for you than the first [life]."
أَلَمْ يَجِدْكَ يَتِيمًا فَآوَىٰ6
"Did He not find you an orphan and give [you] refuge?"
وَوَجَدَكَ عَائِلًا فَأَغْنَىٰ8
"And He found you poor and made [you] self-sufficient."
وَأَمَّا السَّائِلَ فَلَا تَنْهَرْ10
"And as for the petitioner, do not repel [him]."
