سُورَةُ العَادِيَاتِ
Al-Aadiyaat
"The Chargers"
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
"بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم"
وَالْعَادِيَاتِ ضَبْحًا1
"By the racers, panting,"
فَالْمُغِيرَاتِ صُبْحًا3
"And the chargers at dawn,"
فَوَسَطْنَ بِهِ جَمْعًا5
"Arriving thereby in the center collectively,"
وَإِنَّهُ عَلَىٰ ذَٰلِكَ لَشَهِيدٌ7
"And indeed, he is to that a witness."
۞ أَفَلَا يَعْلَمُ إِذَا بُعْثِرَ مَا فِي الْقُبُورِ9
"But does he not know that when the contents of the graves are scattered"
فَالْمُورِيَاتِ قَدْحًا2
"And the producers of sparks [when] striking"
فَأَثَرْنَ بِهِ نَقْعًا4
"Stirring up thereby [clouds of] dust,"
إِنَّ الْإِنْسَانَ لِرَبِّهِ لَكَنُودٌ6
"Indeed mankind, to his Lord, is ungrateful."
وَإِنَّهُ لِحُبِّ الْخَيْرِ لَشَدِيدٌ8
"And indeed he is, in love of wealth, intense."
وَحُصِّلَ مَا فِي الصُّدُورِ10
"And that within the breasts is obtained,"
